Is the Aquasential Smart High Efficiency system designed to be a well water filter?
The Aquasential Smart High Efficiency Water Filter is most often used as a well water filter. It can address many well water problems, including low pH (acidic water) or issues like dirt, silt, clay and other types of sediment that can create cloudy, dirty water. If you are dealing with more than one well water problem, you may require multiple solutions — such as additional whole house filters for iron or hydrogen sulfide, a reverse osmosis system or a water softener. How often do I have to replace the filters?
The CULLAR and Filter-Cleer can last for several years in many applications. Your local Culligan water expert can replace these filters when needed. The Cullneu filter is consumed in the neutralization process. It will need to be periodically replenished by your Culligan service team to ensure the proper level of pH elevation.
Is it possible I would need multiple different types of treatment systems for my water?
Since whole house water filters are specially designed to target individual, specific water problems, you may require multiple systems to address all your concerns. In addition to the Aquasential Smart High Efficiency Water Filter, Culligan also offers iron, sulfur, hydrogen sulfide and arsenic solutions. You can compare these systems here.
